NimbleUser Adopts a Family for the Holidays

It's been pretty festive around the office lately...Tom has his Charlie Brown holiday tree at his desk, there is more candy and treats than you could ever eat sent to us from our Clients and Partners in the kitchen, and more importantly, the Conference Room is filled with presents.  The wonderful thing about the present pile?  None of it is for us!  With the holiday spirit in full effect over here on Kreag Road, we decided as a company to "adopt" a family through Sojourner House and give back a little of the happiness and good fortune that we are blessed with all throughout the year.  The lucky NimbleUser recipients this year were a mother and her 2 daughters, ages 2 and 3; and boy did we have a great time shopping for them!  As a part of the program that Sojourner House manages (through the efforts of the illustrious Portia Chiarella -Community Relations & Volunteer Coordinator for Sojourner House), each family is given 2 wishes for the parent and 3 wishes for the children (we were lucky enough to able to buy a little more than that thanks to all the generous donations from the NU employees!).  This year, we were able to provide the family with:

For the mother:

• 3 cozy sweaters
• 6 pairs of fun, warm socks
• A portable AM/FM CD Player

For the girls:

• Dora the Explorer Sheet Set
• Dora the Explorer Comforter
• Hannah Montana Sheet Set
• Hannah Montana Comforter
• 2 Baby Dolls and Accessories (a girl has to have baby accessories!)
• A Leapfrog Learning Laptop
• A Touch and Learn Reading Fun Turtle
• Soft and cuddly Christmas Eve (or any eve!) Jammies
• A ton of books
• Coloring and Activity Books and Crayons
• 2 stockings chock full of fun goodies like bouncy balls, Disney Princess hair accessories, dry erase boards, notepads, etc.  

Here's the "In Progress" pile we had going that we all kept adding to, we've got a lot of wrapping to do!
